What is the investigational TIL cell therapy process?
In investigational TIL cell therapy, a small piece of an individual’s tumor is used to generate billions of energized TIL in a laboratory.1

Tumor tissue removal
A small portion of the tumor is surgically collected and sent to a specialized laboratory

T-cell separation
The patient’s TIL are separated from other cells in the tumor

T-cell rejuvenation and amplification
The TIL are then energized and multiplied into the billions

TIL infusion
The multiplied and reenergized TIL are administered back to the patient during a hospital stay
lnvestigational TIL cell therapy is a unique, individualized approach designed to recognize a multitude of immune markers and target cancer cells.1,2
TIL=tumor infiltrating lymphocytes.
lnvestigational TIL cell therapy has 3 steps:

Step 1: Getting ready for the treatment
Patients receive chemotherapy to clear out immune cells so that the new treatment can work better.1,2

Step 2: TIL infusion
Patients receive TIL cells, which can identify unique proteins displayed on the surface of cancer cells.2

Step 3: IL-2 Infusion
Patients receive a short course of high-dose IL-2 to help their TIL work better.2
After treatment completion, healthcare providers will monitor patients for any side effects.
IL-2=interleukin-2.
