About the SARATOGA trial
SARATOGA is a global clinical trial currently enrolling patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma—specifically undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) or dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS)—that has progressed following prior systemic treatment.
The trial is studying lifileucel, an investigational TIL cell therapy.
SARATOGA will assess the safety of lifileucel and its potential to:
- Reduce tumor size
- Slow tumor growth
- Eliminate tumors that show up on scans
- Extend patients’ lives without their cancer worsening
Patients may be eligible to participate in this trial if:
- They have been diagnosed with advanced undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) or dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS)
- Their cancer has grown (progressed) during or after prior systemic treatment, including at least one anthracycline-based regimen
- Their heart is working well and they are well enough to carry out daily activities with minimal limitations
- Their lungs, kidneys, and liver are working well as determined by standard medical tests
- They have at least one resectable tumor (can be removed by surgery) and one tumor that can be tracked on scans
